Sure to go down as the strangest moment in the annals of public broadcasting, Barney the Dinosaur lost his long, private battle with his inner demons while participating in WGBH's annual winter fundraiser. As on-air personalities and station security escorted the possessed children's show host from the station, he was heard roaring "Peek-a-boo you filthy rugrats, peak-a-freakin'-boooo!!!"
Barney's child star cohosts were seen later weeping uncontrollably, hugging each other, and exclaiming "it's over, the long nightmare is finally over!"
WGBH reports record high donations following the incident.
