Marc Snyder: In Black and White

Welcome to "Marc Snyder: In Black and White", a survey of my work in printmaking from 2001 - 2005. This exhibition on FIMP mirrors in cyberspace an exhibition that is taking place from October 24 - November 12, 2005, out there in the "real world", specifically at the Kent State University Stark Campus in Canton OH. The 44 prints in that exhibition, and consequently in this one, were selected by Dr. Robert Miltner, who is also creating a catalog for the show. Should you want some more information beyond that given with the individual prints, you might like to check out my artist's statement, and those of you unfamiliar with relief printmaking might enjoy this brief demonstration of how a linocut is made.

Enjoy the show!
